Douglas (Doug) Stefanini, joined LongView as a financial advisor in 2011 and has over 30 years of experience. He specializes in retirement income planning for both families and individuals and strives to implement innovative planning solutions to help his clients save wisely, grow their assets, and meet their goals. His services extend beyond traditional financial planning into such areas as accumulation planning, lifestyle planning, and legacy planning. He takes a particular interest in providing tax-smart strategies that can help clients diversify concentrated stock positions and defer or mitigate both capital gains and ordinary income tax consequences where possible. He often partners with his clients’ other professionals, like CPAs and attorneys, to make planning as comprehensive possible and can make referrals to his network of trusted professionals as needed.
Doug’s practical approach and guidance provides a foundation that is targeted to strengthen a family’s financial well-being and make a difference in their lives. Doug attended Long Island University, Southampton Campus, majoring in Biology with a Chemistry minor. His charitable affiliations include the Ronald McDonald House, the Atlanta Food Bank, and the Warren/Holyfield Boys & Girls Club in Atlanta. Doug lives in Atlanta with his wife Hailee and daughters Alessandra & Aveline. In his free time, he enjoys running, culinary arts, painting, exotic travel, and writing.
